Jesse Sublett: Photo by Todd Wolfson 2010

ART SHOW. My first show will be at Yard Dog in Austin, opening Friday, Dec. 3, 2010. The time is 7 PM to 9 PM. Beer & wine & music (by me!!) and art for show & sale. How can you not be there unless you are not all there?

The exhibit will be up through December and will include more than 40 pieces, ranging from $175 — $1,000, with the majority of the pieces in the lower range.

Here’s a handful of the newer pieces that will be in the show.

The Skunks in 1979: L-R, Billy Blackmon, Jesse Sublett, Jon Dee Graham, backstage at Boondocks, which would later become Club Foot, and even later, the basement of Frost Bank Tower.

Tune into episode 30 of the Mal Thursday Show podcast for a lengthy interview with yours truly about The Skunks. It’s on the GaragePunk Podcast Network GPPN, which beats the heck out of MTV, CNN, MSNBC and PBS for coverage of great music!
