Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels says "No, I did NOT have a lobotomy."
Republican Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, sporting a suspicious-looking bandage on his forehead, strongly denied rumors that the GOP had forced him to undergo a frontal lobotomy so that he could more easily relate to the GOP’s far-right platform, which includes denial of global climate change, opposes women’s right to choose, and maintains that there’s nothing wrong with America that couldn’t be fixed by more tax cuts for the wealthy and a lot more firepower in people’s homes. Daniels is widely touted as one of the GOP’s best hopes as a presidential candidate in 2012. Daniels claims that he was injured by a swinging door, and that anyone who actually believes that the GOP would force a candidate to have part of his brain removes probably believes that the GOP would do other crazy things, like abolish Medicare.
