Real South needs a lead-line editor. Seriously. To wit:

I mean, I *think* I know what they’re trying to say, but only by osmosis. Especially odd given the rest of the article is pretty well-written.

Well, to be super accurate, Ed, I addressed this in my FB post already (on the American Blues Scene’s FB page), because it’s not the first time that this particular photographer has gotten ripped off. The tenor of most of the comments on that particular FB page annoyed me terribly and I just couldn’t bear to repeat all that one more time here on my blog. As I think I also addressed. There is a very interesting side store to The Gap’s khaki campaign which I would also have mentioned on my post but I just didn’t have time. You might already be aware of it. If not, just Google “Hitler wore khakis.”

Well, to be accurate, if anyone got ripped off in the Gap ad, it was the photographer. Nobody has to pay someone who’s represented in an image, but the creator of that image representing that person should get paid. But most of the photos used in that ad campaign were so iconic that I believe the ad agency took care of the rights.
